Green Vaginal Discharge

When green vaginal discharge is present, it may indicate other problems are present, such as cervical dysplasia caused by HPV. Such gland secretions may stem from trichomoniasis, an infection caused by one-cell organism that is usually transmitted during a sexual intercourse. Due to the ability of this organism to survive in wet environment for about 24 hours, it can be acquired by using the same towel as an affected person. When green vaginal discharge is present, it may indicate other problems are present, such as cervical dysplasia caused by HPV.
