Intraepitelial neoplasia vulvar (VIN) may develope into cancer making cryotherapy with a cone biopsy optional treatments. It is not known if VIN is sexually transmitted but some forms are associated with sexual transmission. VIN is the presence of abnormal cells in the vulva skin, and can occur in several areas at the same time. Some symptoms of VIN are mild to severe itching and burning, or abnormal coloration of the vulva. This type of condition usually takes years to develop into cancer, if left untreated it may go away or it may turn into cancer.
