Abnormal chronic vaginal discharge could be an indication of vulvar vestibulitis or cervical dysplasia. An increase in progesterone production may be linked to a weak liver function with insufficient enzymes’ production. The condition may also be caused by birth control pills that very often contain a high level of progesterone. In this case, women are advised to minimize the dosage of progesterone-based birth control pills. Abnormal chronic vaginal discharge could be an indication of vulvar vestibulitis or cervical dysplasia.
